The Department of Conservation (DOC) run Conservation Week annually to encourage the community to get more involved in taking care of New Zealand's plants and wildlife. Conservation Week 2018 starts today and runs from 15th to 23rd September.
As New Zealand's national network for wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release, WReNNZ, Wildlife Rehabilitators Network of New Zealand, are asking all New Zealanders wanting to learn more about wildlife and wildlife rehabilitation to register for our free wildlife newsletter and join WReNNZ this September.
If you register to receive WReNNZ newsletter you will receive our new free Save Wildlife ebook, which outlines 3 of the most common reasons wildlife end up in care and what you can do to help.
If you join WReNNZ as a member you can find out more about getting involved in wildlife rehabilitation and get ongoing access to discounted best practice wildlife rehabilitation training.
With thousands of native species at risk, WReNNZ are seeking those committed to wildlife in the community, to get involved and support the development of more training for rehabilitators, and to partner with WReNNZ to help preserve native species populations in the wild.
Will you join us today?
