Learn Bird Care is run by two of WReNNZ long-term members and contributors with extensive experience in wildlife rehabilitation, Mandy is one of New Zealand's most experienced rehabilitators and Janelle is one of New Zealand's most dedicated wildlife vets. They are both deeply passionate about teaching the community and rehabilitators the best rescue and rehabilitation practices to implement, in order to optimise care and release outcomes for wildlife.
If you are completely new to wildlife rescue and rehabilitation you may want to start with their free course that will give you a lot of insight into what's involved in rehabilitation and help you learn what to do if you find sick, injured or orphaned birds.
